Only 20 minutes drive from Faro airport and almost at the front of the delightful Aldeamento village in Vale do Lobo. Accommodation comprises two double/twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, open plan kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, dining and living room with open fireplace and satellite TV. There is a spacious roof terrace, recently extended and a small shaded garden ideal for summer lunchtime.

FACILITIES:
We have house membership for free use of tennis courts, pool and gym at Vale Do Lobo Tennis Centre. There is a children\'s playground just below the house, with shallow kids\' pool, also a crazy-golf course. On the Praca there are small shops (including newsagent) and lots of bars and restaurants. A well-stocked supermarket is situated at the entrance to Vale do Lobo. There are two 18-hole golf courses - rather expensive! Also a newly established bowling green. Water-sports are available on Vale do Lobo beach during the summer months - also water-skiing at Quinto do Lago\'s lagoon, 10 minutes\' drive. Visitors may purchase \'Welcome Cards\', at approx. £35, which give discounts on all facilities under Vale do Lobo management, and free use of the village bus service. These cards are of special benefit to golfers.
The main feature of Vale do Lobo is its magnificent long, sandy beach! The Algarve (\"Garden\" in Arabic) has the best climate in Europe!

Our detached villa at the front of the Aldeamento (village) in Vale do Lobo is situated 2 minutes\' walk to the beach and 1 minute to the Praca, with its Restaurants, Cafes, Bars, Shops and Disco. It has a small garden - a shady lawn, very suitable for lunch in hot weather. Accommodation comprises 2 double bedrooms (with fitted cupboards), 2 bathrooms (recently refurbished), a dining and sitting area and a small but well-equiped kitchen (large fridge, gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, and many electrical gadgets). We go over there ourselves several times a year and check that everything is in working order! In the sitting area there is Sky TV, an electric convector heater, also an open fireplace - very cosy in cooler winter evenings.
A special feature of No.1 is its spacious, secluded roof terrace, recently extended, which gives spectacular views of the beach and sea. There are several sun-beds and ample chairs, etc. The villa accommodates 4 people, but in summer months one or two extra (e.g. teenagers) can sleep on the terrace; inflatable mattresses provided, but bring your own sleeping bags. We have slept up there at the end of September! Cots can be hired - at great expense - so we advise parents of small children to bring their own travel cots.

You will collect the house key from Reception adjacent to the Golf Club. The house is maintained by the Vale do Lobo management, and any queries or problems should be reported to Reception - open 24 hours - and will be dealt with as soon as possible. General Wear & Tear is inevitable, but please report or replace broken items - for the convenience of future clients.

Sheets and towels, etc., are provided and will be changed once a week. (Visitors are requested to bring their own beach towels). The house is cleaned once a week (3 times a fortnight) at our expense.  If you require more domestic service, please tell us in advance, or inform Reception - but it will be at your expense. Telephone calls within the Vale do Lobo complex are free of charge; visitors will be billed for calls made on outside lines.

Prices include Gas, Water, Electricity and General Maintenance. Reduced rates may be considered for periods over 2 weeks, especially in winter months; also for 2 occupants only, except in the high season. A deposit of 20% of the total charge is required as confirmation of your booking; the balance is due 2 weeks before the start of your holiday. Please make cheques payable to John Peake.
