Situated on a quite area but near all amenities.

Coast/Beach
The beach of Praia Grande and Armação de Pêra are around 5 mins drive. Other beaches such as Albufeira are a short drive away. The Portuguese coastline is dotted with so many beaches each to different tastes but all within very easy reach.

Golf
Salgados or Amendoeira golf course is roughly 5 mins drive and boasts a broad range of health and sports facilities. There are many golf courses all superb within a 20-40 mins drive from the villa including Vilamoura itself.

Special interest holidays
A good holiday for people who like walking, bike riding or just maybe enjoying the real Portugal as well as being able to sample the new.

Travel
Faro is the nearest airport and within 30-40 mins drive. I personally feel a car is needed. If needed I can help you to rent a car.

Distances
The town of Pera or Armação de Pêra are about 5km away and Silves is 18km and Lagoa 10km. Albufeira is roughly 10km. There are many waterparks suitable for all ages Aquasplash, Slide and Splash, Zoomarine where with an added premium you can swim with the dolphins great for younger kids. Fiesa city of sand is very good also. There is the Algarve shopping centre with 9 cinemas, a bowling alley and over 130 shops it is open from 10am-12pm. So many beaches and excursions for everyone.
